Introduction:
Welcome to the Beads Amore's online Bead Store! This store uses the same layout as our Fishers Indiana store. So, if you have been in our Fishers store, you ought feel at home here. If
you haven't then please visit us there or at one of our other stores. You will probably find using this website entirely different than most other
on-line stores. In consideration of your privacy we run all of your shopping
session in a 128bit SSL Security Mode. The following frequently asked
questions should help , so just click on the ones that interest you.
Internet Connection:
You need a DSL or Cable broadband Internet connection. In order for us to display the Beads in their full grandeur we have
to use very LARGE pictures. On a dial up connection it would take about five
minutes per page. Even with a Broad Band connection you may have to wait as long
as a minute for a new page to load. Once a page has fully loaded it will
stay available to you as you click back and forth between pages. If it doesn't
stay available then please visit our FAQ's
page to see if your browser settings need to be adjusted.
Browsers, Cookies, Pop Ups and Screen Size
In order for this website to work properly you will need to be using an
Internet Explorer 5.0 or later browser. All Windows XP systems should already have a
compatible browser installed. If you use a different browser we don't know what the results will be,
we have only
tested it in Internet Explorer.
Cookies:
You must also have cookies turned on. If you have your cookies blocked then the site
will not work properly. There has been a lot of BAD publicity about cookies,
most of it is not true. We do not store any personal information in your
cookies. If you have cookies blocked please see our
FAQ's for help adjusting
those settings.
Pop Ups: If you use a popup blocker you must disable it for this site to work
correctly. Again, If you don't know how to do this please look in our
FAQ section.
Screen Size:
Your screen size should be set to 1040 by 768 or larger. Smaller sizes like 600x800
will make it hard for you to see all the screen without a lot of scrolling
around. Again, If you don't know how to do this please look in our
FAQ's section. Be sure to close all other open Windows or Internet Sessions before using our
site. After you have viewed this Tutorial you will be returned to our main entry
page. Please note we have other options there for you to use at a later date.

Start an order:
Pick the link that states " I would like to start a new order".
The first screen you see will be a 3D information screen. If you already have a pair of red/Blue 3D Glasses then chose "View in 3D" check box and then hit continue. If you don't already have a pair then pick the "Send me a pair" check box and we will send out a pair with your first order. Next hit continue.
The second screen you see will request your Tax Status. If you are a resident of Indiana and do not have a resale License then hit the lower button. If you will be shipping to a state other that Indiana or have a resale license then we don't have to collect sales tax. You can click the top button.
Next you will arrive at the Index page,. You have three ways to find what you want here, by picking from the top menu options buttons, by clicking on the colored table icons and by the table inventory search form.
On the drop down menu options when you pick an item it will be displayed in the top left hand corner of the new page.
In the middle of the page is an iconic representation of our store layout as though you were looking down through the roof. When you roll your mouse over a table a popup will appear with a description of the items on that table. Just click on that iconic table and it will appear in your screen.
You will also see the link the "Use our total inventory search form to search by Material, Shape, and Color". This form will allow you to search through the inventory. It's drill down functions will help you find items that have very specific characteristics.
Now that you have picked a Menu or Table option we are taken to the Bead Picker Screen. When you arrive here the item table is in a reduced view so that you can get an overview of what is on this table, if you picked "View in 3D" earlier then it will be important to put your 3D glasses on now.. You should notice at the bottom and right side of the left windows there are bright blue scrollbars. Click on these and hold down the mouse to move then around. This action will help you move the beads and items around the screen.
Right clicking on the picture of the items in this view will cause the screen to toggle between large and small. To see a specific item in closer view left click on the item and it will be positioned in the upper left hand corner in large view.. When you roll your mouse over it in the large view a popup layer will show you important information about the item, like Item type, material, shape, size, color, cost and number. You can also see small lines on the square cursor, on most screens each of those lines represent 2mm, we do not guarantee that is the size on your screen.
Also notice the floating buttons on the upper right hand corner of the Bead Picker Window. The next button when clicked will take you to the next table on the right, the previous button will take you to the table on the left. The search button will take you back to the Index page and the Shopping Cart will display the cart with all the order so far in it.
Now click on the item or Bead that you want to purchase. On the right side the "Add to my order" page will appear. Here you will see the picture of and the information about the item or bead that you picked. You need to select the quantity you require, then click the "Add to my order button". Once you have added your first item to the shopping cart it will be displayed in the right hand window. You can continue to add items the same way.
In the Shopping Cart you will see all your charges as they accrue. No surprises at the end of the order. You can also see your taxable, Pick fee and shipping status from this screen and click the appropriate links to make changes to them. If you decide you don't want a particular item the just set the quantity to zero. The item will stay in your list in case you change your mind and decide you did need it after all. The last item picked will stay at the top of the list. Each item number is highlighted, just click on it and you will see a picture of that item.
When you are done shopping click the "Click here to check out" button. On the checkout page you will need to fill in all the boxes that have an asterisk in front of them. If we do not get that information we will not accept the order. If the order is Billing to the same address as the Ship To address then check the Bill to box and the info will be copied to the the required boxes for you. After you have completed your first order these boxes will be filled in for you on future orders. On most orders where you are shipping to a different address you should expect a phone call for fraud protection. Please don't hesitate to put special instructions in the "Notes" text box. We do not store Credit card numbers on our servers. They are handled only by our credit card processing associates and then destroyed. So when you return in the future you will need to enter the credit card info again. If you delete the cookies in your browser you will need to fill out the complete form again. We store only a reference number in your cookies not your personal information. When the form is filled out completely click the "Submit this order button". You will receive an on screen confirmation of your order and a link will show up on the Bead Picker window that will allow you to print the order. You should receive and e-mail within a few hours confirming the order receipt and another when we ship it.
If there is an Internet failure or you didn't finish the order or the system timed out or you have to restart the order there is a link on the front page of this website that will let you continue. Be sure to look for that link if you need to start over and don't want to lose the work you have already done. If you start a new order before completing an old order the information will be lost.

Shipping and Return Policies.
Please keep in mind, We do not backorder but we do ship incomplete orders unless you tell us
not to in the notes section of the Order form.
Our return policy is:
If we still have the bead in stock we will issue a credit. We do not
refund money.
On all returned orders there is a $5.00 or 10% , which ever is higher,
restocking fee.
If we are at fault for errors on your order there is no pick charge or
restocking charges unless you need
special shipping.
Please do not ship us any package without a Return Materials Number that we
have issued to you. we will not accept it.
Please call us on the phone to discuss any possible return or problems. That
number is on our FAQ's and About us page. Please do not call the stores because they can not handle your on-line order.
